The new Communication Sciences Faculty of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, with its University Degree Course in Communication, Media and Advertising, will be characterised by an innovative approach as it regards study path and training model
In this perspective it introduces a highly multi-trans-disciplinary model that best meets international standards and overcomes traditional models based on the separation of the disciplinary sectors. Therefore, it introduces a model capable of tackling the media context as a whole. Nowadays media represent a strongly interconnected system, dominated by converging (technological, economic-productive, narrative) trends that go under the name of crossmediality (as defined by the EC ACTEN 2004 paper). To this end, UNINETTUNO computer-based platforms will be fully exploited by enhancing highly interactive and experimental content-rich activities in instructional design, aiming at an active involvement of the student as co-author of his own learning path. In this perspective we propose to follow an Anglo-Saxon model that envisages lectures and seminars (target to few students who are highly participative and aimed to the preparation of research work reports and in-depth studies carried out by the student under the assistance of a tutor), beside laboratories and practice work designed for several parallel courses in order to bring about synergies and creative activities among the various courses. ![]()
