While the digital transformation of the fashion industry began decades ago, the last few years have seen this change kick into high gear, driving new, innovative solutions to long-standing challenges.
Innovative applications of AI, big data, blockchain and cloud computing are at the core of digital strategies and have a significant impact on every step of the supply chain.
This course aims to equip students with the tools and sensitivity to navigate this complex and ever-evolving landscape.

Prerequisiti
No particular prerequisites are needed to attend the course.
Scopi
The lectures in this course provide an understanding grounded in a core focus on new technologies and applications in the fashion supply chain in the light of the experiences of key players in the industry.
Particular attention is paid to the fundamental strategic postitive contribution, but also to the critical issues emerging from the introduction of key digital technologies in different business areas. 
Contenuti

The course aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge about the international fashion industry and the digital tools that underpin commercial innovation policies in each sector.

Esercitazioni

At the end of this module, the student is expected to answer to open questions related to the main issues the video-lectures refer to.
