Disability and SLDs
The International Telematic University UNINETTUNO promotes inclusive education in order to guarantee the right to study for all students. Students with disabilities and SLDs (Specific Learning Disabilities) will be able to:
Request for the assignment of dispensatory measures and compensatory tools
A student who intends to request the assignment of dispensatory measures and compensatory tools should send an e-mail to the Rectorìs Delegate for Disabilities and SLDs, Dr. Cristiana Sanalitro, requesting their assignment. The request should be structured as follows:
- Subject: Put in the following Subject: "Freshman_surname_name_Request for assignment of dispensatory measures and compensatory tools"
- Attachments: Attach all of the following documents:
- Form to Apply for Compensatory Tools Disabilities – SLDs-BES, duly filled in and available at the bottom of the page;
- Medical and/or specialist certification. The certification must:
- Be issued by the NHS or accredited institution;
- Specify the date of issue.

Dispensatory measures and compensatory tools
Dispensatory measures and compensatory tools may be:
- Additional time to take written tests: The Dean's Delegate may allot up to 30% more than the basic time allotted for conducting the test;
- Face-to-face oral exam: The Dean's Delegate may allow the student to take the exams orally;
- Conceptual Maps and Forms: The student who has been assigned conceptual maps and forms as compensatory tools shall submit them for approval to the Lecturer in charge of the course at least 30 days before the scheduled start date of the exam session. The Lecturer will attach the same to the test prepared for the student.
Exam booking:
- Face-to-face oral exams: The student who intends to take advantage of this option must inform the relevant Lecturer during the booking period for the written exams. The deadline for meeting the admission requirements will have to be agreed with the Lecturer in this case;
- Written exams: When booking for written exams, the student who has been assigned dispensatory measures and compensatory tools may indicate which of them he will use for that specific test. The Teacher in charge of the course will see this and can prepare the test ad hoc for the student. At the exam, the student must bring with him the reservation certificate that can be downloaded in the Administrative Secretariat area.
