Section of Mathematics

The Section of Mathematics is an experimental internal articulation of the Uninettuno University. It does not integrate or replace the current internal articulations provided for by the Statute and by the regulations of Uninettuno.
The Section is established in order to achieve high levels of quality in the activity conducted by Uninettuno in the field of Mathematics, supporting and promoting research activities, teaching, scientific dissemination, production of new methods and scientific techniques, as well as innovative teaching materials, in the area of Mathematics, its applications and other disciplines strictly related to Mathematics.
The Section also promotes the widest possible national and international scientific reports of Uninettuno with other institutions and institutions operating in the field of Mathematics and its applications.
Activities
The activity carried out by the Section od Mathematics is mainly oriented to the scientific-didactic aspects of the mathematical sciences and related disciplines, as well as to the popularization aspects of Mathematics.
The Section promotes fundamental and applied research in the fields of Mathematics, statistics, mathematical modeling and interconnections with basic and applied sciences.
The Section supports and promotes research activities, teaching, scientific dissemination, production of new scientific methods and techniques, as well as innovative teaching materials, in the area of Mathematics, its applications and other disciplines strictly related to Mathematics.
It promotes the widest possible scientific relations of Uninettuno with other subjects, institutions and national and international institutions operating in the field of Mathematics and its applications.
It organizes seminars, conferences and conferences of a scientific and informative nature, also in telematic mode.
It promotes the publication and dissemination of the results achieved by its members.
It carries out research and consultancy on behalf of third parties through contracts and agreements stipulated by Uninettuno in accordance with its statutory and regulatory provisions.
